Firewing is a new IDE and development platform based around a 16-bit PIC24 microcontroller.
It is made by David Barker (the same guy behind the excellent Swordfish IDE) and it looks to be a great step forward following in Swordfish's footsteps.
Check out the main Firewing website here where you can download the IDE for free and look at purchasing various firewing modules.
