Very nice.
I bought an FPGA to do some VGA signal generation. It is 'relatively' straight forward compared to other methods from what I can see. Unfortunately though VGA is being phased out in the next few years. So I 'think' this will make it harder for the hobbiest to generate video signals like this. We might have to buy specialised hardware to take care of the heavy lifting for us.
