CAUTION using a DS18B20

I recently have been using a DS18B20 temp sensor for measuring a beer cooler temp and making adjustments. I inadvertently disconnected the power wire to the sensor (may have been the sensor wire?) but in any event the sensor now only reads 185, not 34degreesFetc.
I need to add some code to the pic but need to replace the sensor first.

I'd say it's okay.

The sensor itself does not work but after connecting a new sensor everything is a go.
