A six legged crawling robot (DLR crawler) is used for developing and testing autonomous, vision based navigation. DLR`s humanoid robot Justin, an experimental system for research on bimanual dexterous manipulation, shows its dynamic sensing and movement capabilities by catching balls tossed in its direction.

That would be great to have a ball catching robot! I could set it up in the corner of the staff room at work and throw things at it now and again when I need to rest my brain for a while.
