I bought a Sandisk Usb thumbdrive with Secure Access. I would like to know what other people think. I copied 2 gigabytes to the vault and it was working but it took a long time so I abandoned it because it was taking longer than I wanted to spend. I wasn't paying attention to the clock but I'm guessing it was over 20 to 30 minutes and wasn't finished so I thought it would be powerful but not really practical.
This software comes free with Sandisk thumb drives.

Re: sandisk Secure Access
2GB should not be taking that long!
What happens if you use it as a standard non-secure drive?

Re: sandisk Secure Access
The software is voluntary and I believe it takes so long because it does encryption.
It should act normally as a regular drive.

I think that would be exactly right - if it is encrypting every single file (and I guess, every single byte within the file) It would probably take some time!
