Speaking of 3D printers, there's been a whole bunch of them on kickstarter lately.

I've only heard online that Maker Fair told participants to stop bringing CNC machines because there were so many. If there isn't some variety, people will get bored and stop visiting.

I was thinking the same thing - although they do seem to keep gaining backers on kickstarter!
