I just bought 50 5MM Chrome Metal LED holders off of ebay. I saw an instructable where the user used two AA batteries and a mint tin and a couple of LED holders to build a flashlight and he said the LEDs would be powered for 50 hours. I went looking on the internet for tins and I found a hinged tin so if I can find one large enough for a lipo battery and charger, I might just have an emergency flashlight for when the power is out during hurricane season for a long period of time. I may also design it to switch between lipo and two AA batteries if I have enough room.
