8x8 Game System Clone

Just wanted to share a few photos of the prototype for an 8x8 Game System re-design. The display is very even and bright, though you might not be able to tell from the pictures (sorry).
No schematic yet but here's a quick-n'-dirty parts list;
1 ea 16F1828 (or 16F690, or 18F14K22)
2 ea MIC5891 8-bit Ser-to-Par Source Driver IC
3 ea 100 nF ceramic monolithic "bypass" cap
1 ea 8x8 Common Cathode Row Red/Green Display
8 ea PCB Mount Momentary Contact Push Button Switch
8 ea 1N914 or 1N4148 Silicon Switching Diode
2 ea SIL Machined Pin Socket (for the Display)
You might notice from the photos that I haven't installed and wired up the switches and diodes yet.
