I have a question about the 74373 is there a big difference between the 74HC373 and the 74HC373N? I've got a look trough the datasheet but that didn't help me alot. (It only made me more confused). http://cgi.ebay.com/50pcs-DIP-IC-74HC373N-74HC373-/320516582169?cmd=ViewItem&pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&has...

Ok, can you make a small schematic of this? This will help me alot. Just as an example. As I understand I don't have to use large ones. 0.1hF will be enough right? As for the programming of my pic I was looking for the pickit on ebay but I've found out that there is a pickit3. (This one is a little ...

As I was looking trough some schematics I noticed that nearly every schematic has a `electricity filter` (I know it has something to do with noise and capacitors). My question about this: Why would you need to filter electricity? What is causing that noise? Do I need a filter on my project? How to m...

sorry that I wasn't on the web for a while but I was very busy with school projects and other stuff. I wanted to ask you brad if you could check my schematic. Because this is my first one and I am not 100% sure everything is connected correctly. I sill have a question, as I understand all IC's need ...

Ok so here it is!
http://www.bradsprojects.com/phpBB2/upl ... c1_683.zip
I will make a second one with the IC's in it.
In the in the meantime have a look to my schamatic and correct me if I made any mistake. Also if you have any questions feel free to ask.

Ok but for the 96 led's I will need to use 74373's for the enables that gives me a headake  because it's a little messy. so is there a way to make this simpler? (that I don't need to use 74373's for the enables?) Hope there is :? :P and I know that when you type in the part number in google t...

I guess i will need a 16-bit parallel shift register instead of a 8-bit one or can i just connect two of these? Is there a way that I can read these names so I know what they actually do? for example "74373" that doesn't tell me much. or for the microcontrollers "16F628P" or "18F4420". :?: And what ...

Does a 16-bit pic microcontroller just have 2 times more outputs as a 8-bit pic microcontroller, or its got 16 0's (0000 0000 0000 0000) as an output of one pin? I want to make my circuit small (as small as possible) because it needs to be on the rotating part of my pov. (in the center) so please gi...

First sorry that I wasn't here for a long time but I was on vacation and unfortunatly there was no internet connection. =( bitfogav wrote: Basically to run 36 74373's chips you will need a microchip with atleast 80 outputs/inputs and as far as I know in the 8bit range there isnt one available at thi...
