Re: Bradsprojects has gone mobile!
Not only that, but it's FREE for blackberry users or at least it was (BETA version). Everyone else has to buy the program for $3 or $4 US dollars.brad wrote:Thanks for that - I had no idea that it also ran on blackberry devices

Re: Saleae Logic Analyzer at a fantastic price
At first glance, I thought that this was going to be the unit that I have, but mine is from SAELIG. This is what I purchased a while ago: http://www.saelig.com/LA/LA005.htm I never got it to work properly, but then again I tried it back before I really knew what I was doing. It was certainly user er...

Brad has too much time on his hands... It seems every time I log in the forum has a different layout and I have to make sure I'm on the correct website.

Re: How to use LED's as photodiodes (light sensors)
You know, Brad. You could set up a couple LEDs to control your LEDBoy... Left and right would work best.
You could even play chase the light on the LED table. Whenever someone is getting close, the LED hops to a different square, etc...
So many possibilities.

Re: Something for your Dremel...
The acrylic is a decent material to work with and shouldn't hurt the blade too bad. The only issue you may have is with heating it up. If you don't send it through at a proper speed, it may melt back together - ask me how I know... ha! Slow the dremel down so it can cut the acrylic and not melt it. ...

Re: Something for your Dremel...
Might be good for people who build little models or for cutting PCBs. Using any wood other than pine would kill those blades in a heart beat and they're not cheap. It's just expecting too much out of that little tool.

Re: Universal PIC project board
But not every pic has the same pin layout. I'm planning on using a universal 40 pin zif socket. This allows me to put any DIP in it. So how do you make the board function with the different pics? You will have to narrow it down to specific chips. There are way too many variations. The cost would be...

Re: Code misunderstanding
The number after each "bcf/bsf" is the PORT pin.
So, "bsf PORTA, 4" represents setting or turning on (high) PORTA - Pin 4 or RA4.
I hope that's what you're asking, if not, let me know...

I usually don't do schematics. I usually just place them on DipTrace PCB layout and play with it from there. Although, I have used Visio in the past.

Re: Wingsuit Man Jeb Corliss Video
Don't try this at home and don't ask me how to land. It seems that they are trying to find a way to land without using a parachute. They stated that the wingsuit glides 3:1 (3' down for every 1' forward), so I would think that a properly built hill meeting those specs would be in order. Just slide ...
